Power Of Manifestation: Expert Explains Power Of Positive Thoughts And How You Can Practise It

Manifestation involves bringing your desires into reality through intention and thought. Scroll down to learn how to practise it.

Have you ever wished for something so deeply that it felt like the universe planned to make it happen? That is the essence of manifestation. It is a practice that goes beyond wishful thinking and taps into the power of positive thought to shape your reality. We spoke to Honey Gudh, ICF Certified PCC Credentialed Life Coach, Head Coach Trainer, and Co-Founder, Cocoweave Coaching International, who explained manifestation and how you can practise it.

How does Manifestation work?

“Manifestation involves bringing your desires into reality through intention and thought. It helps you attract what you want in life by aligning your thoughts, feelings, and actions. While it may sound a bit mystical, manifestation can help you focus on what you truly desire, cultivating a positive mindset”, highlighted Gudh.

Manifestation is the idea that you may visualise yourself succeeding in life, use positive self-talk, and act as though your goals have already been accomplished, as stated in the British Psychological Society.

If you are new to manifestation, here are ways to start one, as listed by the expert:

Visualise Your Goals

“Close your eyes and imagine yourself achieving what you want, like getting a promotion at work. Picture every detail. Visualising can help boost your confidence and make success feel more achievable”, said Gudh.

Positive Affirmations

Say positive things to yourself, like “I will do great in my dance performance.” Repeat these statements to build belief in yourself. If you keep telling yourself you will succeed, it can create a positive mindset and improve your chances of achieving the dance performance.

Set Clear Intentions

Clearly say what you want, like “I want to give my best in the interview tomorrow.” This helps your mind focus on specific goals. When you clearly state your intentions, it gives your mind a roadmap, making it easier to stay focused on your goals.

Gratitude Journaling

Write down things you’re thankful for, like having supportive friends or a quiet place to study. It helps attract more positive vibes. If you appreciate the good things in your life, you’ll feel happier and more motivated to tackle your studies with a positive mindset.

Mindful Breathing

Take slow, deep breaths to calm your mind and concentrate on your goals. It can help you stay calm during stressful situations, allowing you to think more clearly and perform better.

Vision Board Creation

Collect pictures or words that represent your goals and put them on a board. This reminds you of what you’re working towards, keeping you inspired.

Scripting

Write a story about your ideal life as if it is happening now, including success in your goal. Describe the details to make it more real.

Meditation

Imagine your goals during meditation to strengthen your connection with them. Meditation can reduce stress and increase focus, making it easier to absorb information and perform well in exams.

Pretend

Act as if you’ve already succeeded in your goals. Pretending creates a positive mindset and helps you make choices that align with your goals, leading to actual success.

Energy Clearing

Visualise negative energy leaving your body. Imagine it being replaced by positive energy that helps you focus and succeed.

Bottomline

Gudh concluded, “It can be challenging to navigate certain situations at times, but having an open mind and being adaptable are the best ways to sail through the rough times and stay positive. It is important to remember that manifestation is not about waiting for something to happen. It is about actively shaping your journey. So, set your intentions, visualise your success and watch as the universe aligns to bring your desires to life.”
