Think Positive, be Happy
Be positive, almost every one among us had heard these two words. Some times in joke or in teasing someone. But in reality these two words have great power to make human life better and happy. If your thinking will change from negative to positive thinking life will be good even best.
Life is filled with negative and positive thoughts. And we try to deal with them every day. But best way of dealing with them is to change negative thinking into positive. Some people have this tendency by birth but for some it has to be cultivated.
Happiness doesn’t come from fame, fortune or other people, rather it comes from within. The richest person in the world could be miserable while a person living in the slum or in a poor condition could be happy. Happy people are happy because they make themselves happy. They maintain a positive outlook on life and remain at peace within themselves.
It has been estimated that we have from 25,000 to 50,000 thoughts a day. If your cost of mind is predominanetly negative, imagine how many negative thoughts you have in a day, thousands upon thousands, which is main reason of depression. One of the reasons for depression is negative thoughts, actually the depression spreading.
Most depressed people are not aware that the hopelessness they feel is flowing from their negative thoughts. Compounding the matter is that negative thinking slips in to the brain under the radar of conscious awareness and becomes one of the strongest of habit patterns. People generate negative thoughts so automatically they are unaware that it is actually a choice they are making. When faced with stressful situations positive thinking cope more effectively. In recent years, researchers have found that mind can have a powerful effect on your body. Immunity is one area where a person’s thoughts and attitudes can have a powerful influence. I have read in one study, researchers found that activation in one’s brain areas associated with negative emotions lead to a weaker immune response to a flu vaccine.
Positive thinking is best for health, not only positive thoughts can impact your ability to overcome with stress and your immunity, it also can impact on your overall well being. There are number of benefits of positive thinking, including reduced risks of death from cardiovascular problems, less depression and increased life span.
Positive people by coping, better with stress and avoiding unhealthy behaviors, they are able to improve their health and well being. Even if you are not a natural born optimist, there are things you can do to learn how to think positive. Now the question is how they do that. It is very simple, happy people have good habits that make their lives easy. Positive thinking understands that it is better to forgive and forget than to let their negative feeling, crowd out their positive feeling. One of the most important steps is to focus on your own inner monologue and to pay attention to yourself.
Live in the present, not in the future and certainly not in the past. This is something that many people forget and spend all of their time deeply regretting events that have passed and constantly worrying about what may happen and so lose out their whole life. It is better to accept that you cannot change the past but can control over what you do n the present and which will give you a better future.
Each day is a new day; life gives us new chances and opportunities at every moment. Accept change. This will prevent you from slipping into negative thoughts. It is better to understand that it is better to accept life as it is. Kindness is a big thing. It has been scientifically proven that being kind makes you happier. Every time when you perform a selfless act, your brain produces ‘Serotonin’ a hormone that eases tension and lift your spirits. Positive thinking people don’t care what others think of them. They follow their own heart and understand that it is impossible to please everyone. Listen to what people have to say, but never seek any one’s approval but your own. Listen more talk less. Listening keeps your mind open to others wisdom and outlook on the world.
Accept what cannot be changed, once you accept the fact that life is not fair, you will be more at peace with yourself. Instead of thinking over how unfair life is, just focus on what you can control and change it for the better. Positive thinking people have the ability to choose their own destinies. So don’t let others tell you how you should live your life. Being in complete control of one’s own life bring positive feelings. It is very difficult to spread positive energy, whereas it is very simple to transfer negative energy and thoughts. Stay away from people and situations that are emotionally harmful. Remember, negativity is contagious. Always be amongst people that inspire you.
When you are failed, don’t blame yourself, or blame someone else, or don’t blame circumstances. Blaming is just wasting energy and it is not going to help you. It is important to maintain the right perspective on your mistakes. You only fail if you believe you have failed.
The truth is everyone makes mistakes, every one fails at something, sometime and there is no shame in failing since, it is called learning. You are supposed to make mistakes and learn from your mistakes since it is a part of your learning experience.
